The time has come...

...to get rid of some of this sh*t that surrounds me every day.

While I've been feeling much better since starting an amazing new workout routine (3 weeks and counting...) and am thisclose to finishing two designs that should have been done months ago, I just felt like I could not go on without first cleaning out some of the dusty corners in my life, both literal and figurative.


So, I'm starting with my stash and all of the baggage that comes with it.


For starters, I'm moving my knitting corner from the downstairs living area to a new crafty area upstairs in our loft.  Here is all of the crap that I dragged out of my downstairs corner:

And then I just about popped a gasket lugging all of it up our tiny metal spiral staircase (hence the need to keep on with the workout routine).

And now here is the view in my new lofty craft area:

SO, I've settled into my comfy blue couch to start the beginning stages of organizing this area...which is just the tip of the iceberg.  Here is a series of photos that depict the overwhelming view from my blue perch:

Yes, my craft area currently doubles as my workout area...hence the erg.

And now the hard part begins.  At least I've got a few seasons of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia to keep me company throughout this ordeal.

 One of the big things I plan to accomplish today is pulling out yarn that I plan to destash, so be on the lookout for some good deals in the next week or so!
